We live in a society where we are always wanting the next new, best things. We want what other people have, and we find ourselves dissatisfied with what we do have. James reminds us that “Every good and perfect gift is from above”. God gave us His Son—the Savior of the world —and is constantly giving us, as His children, good things. Pastor Scot Mendenhall reminds us how to have a grateful heart in a world full of ungratefulness.

Jesus was born a common man, thousands of years ago, on a day we now celebrate called Christmas. Jesus promised the He would return to earth one day at a time, unknown to any man. When He returns, He won’t return as a servant or common man, but rather will be coming back as the King of all Kings. What then should we do until Jesus returns? Pastor Brian Vasil shares with us the key things that we should be doing in order to prepare for His coming, to make ourselves ready for Christ’s return to earth.

The nation of Russia sent the first satellite into space, but the United States actually won the great “space race” by reaching the ultimate goal of landing a man on the moon. Russia never made it to the moon. God wants you to succeed—to “land on the moon”—fulfilling your greatest dreams. Pastor Troy Gramling teaches us the qualities that helped the United States land a man on the moon, and are the same qualities that can help us achieve our dreams and reach our God Potential.

The United States’ space program was born out of the heart of willing volunteers. They paved the way for the launch of rockets, space ships, and ultimately, for a man to walk on the moon. You and I were created to serve; God tells us that He has gifted each one of us with specific gifts and talents to be used to serve His church and to reach people for Christ. Join Pastor Brian Vasil as he encourages us to discover our gifts, and challenges us to use those gifts to volunteer and become servants to one another and to Christ.

Do you and I have the “right stuff” to love God and love others more than ourselves? In these modern times of tension, war, pain, and trouble, our world needs a vision that we can reach for that’s bigger than you and me. That’s what Jesus gives us; He gives us a vision that is greater than just one person. Do you and I have the courage to follow Him and sacrifice for this vision, in order to change the world?
